Last night a small group of us helped an elderly lady.  Her basement wall gave way due to the flooding we recently experienced here in Fond du Lac.  Fran is a sweet lady and had no way of getting the mud out of her basement. It's our desirer to continue a relationship with Fran and help her in any way we can. This brought to mind how are disciples made and how are lives transformed for the sake of Christ. For most of us I believe rolling up our sleeves and being the church to the world around us will help us become more Christlike than listening to a pastor teach or by reading a book.  I believe teaching needs to happen and book need to be written, but more than that we need to act our way into a new way of being.
